The unit is made up of a model 40/80S shredder group working in line with a GR500 granulator.
Characteristics of the shredder:
- Support made of thick electro-welded sheet steel;
- Barrel roller bearing supports with sealing system against dust and liquids;
- Interchangeable wear-resistant side plates with interspace separating the cutting chamber from the bearing flanges;
- Extra-thick shafts with no. 20 wear-resistant special steel cutters and no. 20 insertion discs to facilitate gripping of bulky objects;
- Scaled arrangement of cutter teeth for better gripping and cutting progression;
- 2 epicyclic gearboxes with rotation axes parallel to the cutter axis;
- 2 multi-voltage, multi-frequency 7.5 kW 6-pole motors with PREMIUM efficiency class (IE3);
- Oil-bath transmission system with steel gears and pinions;
- Protection bar for the shredder’s electric motors;
- 400 X 800 mm cutting chamber;
- Electrowelded sheet metal hopper for front or top loading equipped with sliding cover and anti-fly-back rubber strips.
Characteristics of the granulator:
- Strong support structure made of electro-welded tubular steel for housing the GR500 granulator;
- Soundproofed sheet metal panelling;
- Double closing door with electric lock and safety micro for extracting the refiner unit;
- Internal guides to facilitate centring of the GR500 granulator;
- Steel rotor-holder case in extra-thick electro-welded carpentry, equipped with an open central rotor with a diameter of Ø260 mm with interchangeable and sharpenable high-alloy steel blades;
- 300 X 500 mm loading hopper;
- Soundproofed housing chamber, equipped with door with safety for extracting the granulator group to facilitate the regular maintenance operations;
- Set of axially adjustable fixed blades;
- Interchangeable screen for sizes up to 4 mm;
- Drive by means of high-strength V-belts on the flywheel;
- 11 kW motor positioned on slides for optimal belt tension adjustment.
Characteristics of control system:
- Electric switchboard in compliance with CEE standards equipped with a torque limiter that reverses the rotor motion if the machine’s working load exceeds the set value;
- SIEMENS S7-1200 PLC to control all the plant peripherals;
- 6” coloured touch screen display to adjust all machine parameters;
- New “AUTO TUNING ISVE” self-adjustment programme;
- Software designed to control the loading systems, refiner mill and/or vacuum system;
- Emergency control functions for stopping the system;
- ISVE MAINTENACE PROGRAM: it signals the ordinary maintenance interventions at their expiry date;
- PREDISPOSITION FOR REMOTE-ASSISTANCE AND “SAFETY SERVER CONNECTION ISVE” (real-time supervision of the parameters from server ISVE);
- Execution according to CE standards.
