Pusher-drawer single shaft grinders.
Machines studied for the grinding of other materials and high cutting endurance, such as plastic blocks and plates, different types of wood, paper, extruded polymer tubes, etc.
A hydraulic drawer is pushing the material against the rotating tools holder which performs the pre-rupture and the grinding. In case of overloading, the rotor and the drawer automatically reverse the movement to release the material and avoid structural overloads. In the end the product is screened by a perforated grate to determine the final size of the ground material.

Working and main features of the single-shaft shredders
A pusher-drawer with hydraulic drive (4) pushes the material towards a tools-holder (3) roller (2) which carries out the first breaking and thanks to its rotation and to the COUNTER-BLADE action (6) makes a first breaking and the shredding of the product.
The product passes through a drilled screen, which allows establishing the final sizes of the material.

NB: in case of excessive effort, the drawer might invert the direction to release the material that had been loaded to avoid structural overloads.
PARALLEL AXIS REDUCER
The mounted reducer used for the ISVE MR series is of the “heavy” type to guarantee the use of the machine for very demanding processes (loaded plastic blocks, technical polymers, paper reels, PET rolls, wood essences of all types, etc.). The reduction unit is connected by means of a reaction arm to the shock absorber.
SHOCK ABSORBER FOR REDUCER
During grinding, the shear strength of the material transmits strong vibrations to the reducer. All our machines are equipped with a “shock absorber” to guarantee maximum transmission reliability.
The cutting unit has two counterblades, one lower and one upper (in the figure). The presence of two counterblades allows to maintain high productions with grids with holes with a diameter of less than 20 mm.
Each blade is equipped with adjustment screws to facilitate positioning of the fixed blades.
MULTI-PURPOSE ROTOR FOR RECYCLING
The rotor has very thick square plates (40X40 mm) with a concave surface, which can be used 4 times. The fixing system foresees the head of the screw placed behind the cutting surface. This allows the tool to be dismantled easily, preventing the fixing system from being damaged during grinding.
PUSH DRAWER GUIDES
The hydraulic pusher drawer has the function of bringing the material closer to the rotor to promote grinding. The drawer is kept in the guide by the sliding bars located on all 4 sides. Adjustable bushings guarantee maximum cleaning of the sliding tracks.

To warrant the best quality to our products all our “MR” series shredders are equipped with SIEMENS motors.
The frame and structure of our single-shaft shredders are made of high-thickness sheets and tubular. This gives big resistance against the most demanding jobs.
The new control unit of our “MR” series shredders (MR2260 model excluded) is made up of the S7-1200 SIEMENS PLC. To facilitate the programming and running of the shredders and its associated peripherals, the user can use an easy touch panel. The system has been designed to be of quick comprehension and easy to use. With a single gesture it is possible to activate loading conveyer belts, refiningg and suction systems. The control can be centralized and automated.
ISVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
The new control system (MR2260 model excluded) allows to signal to the operator the ordinary maintenance intervention at its expiry date.
AUTO TUNING PROGRAM
(MR1740 and MR2260 excluded) in addition to the possible setting of 8 differents programs, the machine has a new function that auto-adjusts working parameters in fuction of the material to shred.
ISVE SERVER CONNECT
(MR1740 and MR2260 excluded) with an additional form, every machine can be connected on-line through the office net or with an UMTS card (against covering verification). With this system, the grinder functioning is monitorized directly from the mother-house. Moreover, software uploads and remote functioning parameters regulation are available.
All our shredders are equipped with a camera placed near the loading hopper. The operator could easily check the correct running of the machine through the electrical board.
